We are a small woman-owned Appalachian business located in Eastern Kentucky. 7th Son Books & Blooms draws its name from the owner's favorite seventh son- John "Booger" Bowling. As a little girl the owner spent countless hours with her Papaw (who was the 15th child and 7th son of Reynold Bowling). The hours were spent outside learning about plants, animals, and how to take care of people. Inside, the hours were spent being told a lifetime of stories, learning to cook, and pulling all types of pranks. It is the hope that 7th Son Books helps to keep John Booger's legacy alive through the art of stories, and the growing of plants & relationships with people.
